Logistical masterpiece
| When Oticon/William Demant wished to relocate from Strandvejen in Hellerup to Kongebakken in Smørum, we took over principal responsibility for the logistical preparation, project planning and implementation of the project, with the overall aim of completing the process without the company having to pause in its operations. A2Z TURNKEY's concept was adapted to the task, which encompassed 420 staff members, 600 workplaces, a library, various archives and large amounts of extremely sensitive and costly laboratory equipment, measuring instruments and sound apparatus. On top of this came the specially-designed laboratory, production and sound studio workplaces, which, like the equipment itself, were moved as required and without any kind of damage. In line with the overall goal, the actual relocation was carried out smoothly and on time in the course of a single weekend, and all staff could recommence operations on the following Monday morning. |
