Call centre in undisturbed 24-hour operation

When Orange moved to Holmbladsgade in Copenhagen, they chose the A2Z TURNKEY concept as the foundation of the project.

The move placed extra great demands on co-operation between the company’s IT department and our own staff. It was essential that the technical department's 420 workstations would be 100% operational by Monday morning. At the conclusion of the project, the IT department could declare 99.6% of the workstations operational.

The remainder of the organisation was similarly operational as planned on the Monday morning. A major task, in which our concept was put to the test due to the project's overall size (710 workstations), complexity and extremely tight deadlines.

Internal reorganisation
In connection with the doubling of the size of the domicile, an internal reorganisation of 650 hi-tech workplaces was carried out. The task was clearly defined: "
Our staff must be relocated in the period from 4.00 pm on Friday until 8.00 am on Monday, and the company's operations and service level must be completely unaffected. In addition, the call centre, with its 48 staff, must remain in undisturbed 24-hour operations during the actual relocation process, and alterations to the entire fourth storey must be carried out by craftsmen and concluded by 10.00 pm on Sunday."

A2Z TURNKEY ensured that the task was carried out as required, with the delivery of an operational company on Monday morning at 4:30 am.
