From 5 to 2 locations
Copenhagen Energy was installed in its new headquarters in the course of just three days between Christmas and the New Year.
The overall task involved 750 workplaces, which were transferred from five different locations to Oslo Plads and a newly-constructed domicile in the Ørestad district of Copenhagen, respectively. We were responsible for the entire logistical management, planning and preparation for the physical relocation, which after the removals task was tendered to three different removals companies, under A2Z’s management and following-up.
At the same time, planning was undertaken to ensure that the call centre and electricity dealers could continue work without disturbance throughout the entire moving process. Here we undertook the physical handling, with the dismantling and setting up of all workstations.
The management of the total unpacking of personal shelves and common archives was included in the project.
The project planning was crucial in allowing Copenhagen Energy to resume undisturbed daily operations right from the first day after the change of domicile.
